Bristol Rovers are pleased to announce a sponsorship deal with Mercedes Benz of Bristol.

The motoring giants, who have a showroom at Cribbs Causeway, recently sponsored Paul Trollope's new car - a Mercedes CLS 320.

Rovers stadium manager Ian Holtby told bristolrovers.co.uk: "We are absolutely delighted to be associated with such a big global company. We are hoping to form a firm relationship as we embark on exciting times here at Bristol Rovers."

The club are hoping to develop a close partnership with the company over the coming months.

Bristol Rovers commercial director Barry Bradshaw said: "I have been a Mercedes driver for the past 20 years, and have experienced first hand their excellent after sales service.

"I am delighted to have a quality name like Mercedes associated with Bristol Rovers, and hope that both parties will benefit from the relationship.

"As a club we are looking forward to developing this partnership even further in the future."
