ROVERS SET TO BAN SHIRT BURNERS
Rovers are working with the police to try and catch the people who set fire to a Bristol City shirt at Saturday's game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Fans in the Bass Terrace were seen setting fire to the red shirt and throwing it around during the first half of the game.
The club has obtained CCTV footage of the Bass Terrace at the time of the incident and have photographs of a couple of suspects they believe to be involved.
Safety officer Dave Harper is liaising with the police and hopes that arrests will be made.
Dave said: "We have CCTV footage of the Bass Terrace and have identified a couple of people we think were involved in the incident.
"We are working closely with the police and hopefully some arrests and football banning orders will be made in due course."
Anyone with any further information is being urged to contact Dave Harper at the club. All calls will be treated in strict confidence.
