SEASON TICKET PRICES CUT
Rovers are offering cut price 2008/09 season tickets to try and help fans offset the cost of travelling to Cheltenham.
The club are reducing adult season tickets in all areas of the ground by £46 to encourage Gasheads to make the journey up the M5.
This means that someone who would usually purchase a season ticket in the Bass Terrace, can get a ticket for the C&G Terrace at Whaddon Road for £219 compared to the £265 they paid this season.
Tickets in the Paddock and Tunnel Enclosures - the equivalent of the Uplands and DAS Terraces will also be £219 compared to £265 this season.
The Stagecoach West Stand - which is Cheltenham's version of the Uplands Stand - will cost £329 compared to £375, and the In 2 Print Stand - the equivalent of the DAS Stand - will be £369 instead of £415.
Juvenile tickets will also be reduced by £46 in all areas, apart from in the In 2 Print Stand, where prices will reduce from £310 to £204.
Children under 10 will be able to benefit from free season tickets. The tickets will be available when purchased alongside one full priced adult season ticket. The offer is restricted to one free child ticket per adult season ticket.
Supporters will also have the chance to purchase discounted coach travel to all home games.
A season long travel pass will cost £46 - just £2 per game. This means that anyone purchasing a season ticket and a travel pass, will essentially be travelling for free when compared to this season's prices.
Bristol Rovers chairman Ron Craig told bristolrovers.co.uk: "This is going to be a tough time for everyone, but we would like to see as many fans as possible to turn out and support the team while we are playing at Cheltenham.
"We have done what we can to reduce season ticket prices and put on affordable travel, and we hope this will encourage fans to follow us.
"Everyone at the club would like to thank our fans for their patience so far, and hope they will enjoy their time at Whaddon Road."
As an extra incentive, fans who buy a season ticket for both seasons at Whaddon Road will have first choice of seating when Rovers return to the new Memorial Stadium.
Those who purchase a ticket for one season will have second choice of where they would like to sit.
Ron added: "We want to reward our most loyal fans, so will be offering those who purchase season tickets for both seasons away, the first pick of seats when we return to Bristol.
"We will be coming back to a state of the art stadium that we can all be proud of, and we hope the next two seasons will allow us to progress both on and off the pitch."
Matchday prices will also be reduced for 2008/09.
With tickets in the C&G Terrace and the Paddock and Tunnel Enclosures costing £13 with the early bird discount, instead of £15 in the Bass Terrace and Uplands and DAS Terraces.
The Stagecoach West Stand will cost £18 when purchased in advance - compared to £21 in the Uplands Stand, and the In 2 Print Stand will cost £20 compared to £23 in the DAS Stand.
Juvenile early bird matchday prices in the C&G Terrace and the Paddock and Tunnel Enclosures will be reduced by £2, with £2.50 reductions in the Stagecoach West Stand and £5.50 in the In 2 Print Stand.
Coach trips will cost £3.50 when purchased on a match-by-match basis.
Staff will now meet with officials at Cheltenham, and season tickets will go on sale within the next ten days.
