TIM CARTER OBITUARY

Everyone at Bristol Rovers was saddened to hear of the death of former goalkeeper Tim Carter.
Tributes have been pouring in for the 40-year-old who was found dead in Manchester on Thursday.
Tim, who grew up in Bristol, made his debut for Rovers aged 18, and went on to play 50 games for Sunderland between 1987 and 1992.
He was capped three times for the England youth squad in 1985.

The thoughts of everyone connected with the club go out to Tim's friends and family.
Rovers will hold a minute's silence for the former keeper at the Memorial Stadium when the new season starts.
