Rovers travelled to Torquay with a squad of 19 players for this afternoon's friendly fixture against the Blue Square Premiership outfit.

Missing from the travelling party, though, was summer signing Jeff Hughes, who is suffering from a slight groin strain suffered in training this week. He has been rested as a precaution ahead of next week's tour to Sweden.
