LEEDS MATCH COMPLETELY SOLD OUT
Friday's League One meeting between Rovers and Leeds United is now a complete sell-out.
Every ticket made available for game has been sold, including an extra 1,000 released for the extended Uplands Terrace last Thursday afternoon.
Leeds are set to fill the entire Becks South Stand with around 1,200 of their supporters, and if every Rovers season ticket holder turns up as well, it will mean a gate of near-on 12,000 for the first time at the Memorial Stadium.
Over half of the additional Uplands Terrace tickets were snapped up by online Gasheads over the weekend, with the final ticket being sold just after 6:00pm on Sunday.
Sales particularly picked up after the 2-1 win at Luton Town on Saturday lunchtime.
Crowd figures at the Memorial Stadium are calculated on the number of people that pay through the turnstiles on the day, although they do not include season ticket holders who fail to attend a fixture.
This policy contrasts with other clubs who include these fans in their attendances even if they don't attend the game, and explains the continued and at times erratic fluctuation in 'full house' attendances.
It is always the case that a percentage of season ticket holders can't make the game for whatever reason, and it will be the number of these that determine how close to the potential maximum figure Friday night's crowd gets.
All fans are being advised to get to the stadium as early as possible, as queues are likely on the roads around the area, as well as at the turnstiles in the hour ahead of kick-off.
Supporters who need to collect tickets for the match having booked online or over the phone can do so from Pirate Leisure between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 5:00pm from the matchday ticket office on Friday.
There will be no tickets whatsoever available on the day and home and away fans without tickets are advised to stay away.
The game gets underway at 7:45pm.
