CRAVEN COTTAGE AWAY END SOLD OUT
Rovers' FA Cup third round tie with Fulham is currently completely sold out to Gasheads.
The club were allocated a total of 7,000 seats for the Craven Cottage clash, the initial 6,000 of which have now all been snapped up by Rovers fans.
The extra 1,000 tickets missing from the above figures were promised by Fulham once the first batch of 6,000 had been sold, although as yet this extra allocation of tickets has yet to arrive at the Memorial Stadium.
The Londoners today sacked manager Lawrie Sanchez, and officials at Craven Cottage will no doubt be under the cosh on other matters relating to their own football club.
However, as soon as confirmation from Fulham is received that the tickets are on their way, or an expected date for their arrival is communicated, the club will make an announcement regarding the final 1,000 tickets.
Until then, there is no more availability for the match for away fans and no further bookings will be taken by Rovers.
Tickets originally went on sale from Wednesday 12th December to season ticket holders, Presidents Club members, 1883 Club members, Helpline members and Supporters Club Shareholding Scheme members before Supporters Club members, Young Pirates and Senior Pirates were able to buy tickets from Saturday 15th December.
Holders of the Rushden & Diamonds special match voucher were able to buy tickets on Tuesday of this week, before general sale kicked in on Wednesday.
Around 3,000 tickets were sold before general sale to priority support groups, members and voucher holders, 2,000 were sold to personal and telephone callers during general sale, with the other 1,000 going to online buyers.
Tickets have been priced at £15 for adults, £10 for young persons (17 to 20), £10 for senior citizens and £5 for juveniles (under 16).
The match takes place on Sunday 6th January 2008, with a 2:00pm kick-off.
Any supporters still without tickets for the game are advised to regularly check the club website throughout the festive season for updates on when and how the final 1,000 tickets will go on sale.
